These transparent self-watering pots are a handy choice if you want to keep an eye on your plant's roots and don't want to spend too much time watering. They are particularly suitable for plants on SYBAStones, clay balls, pumice or perlite.

When to use
You can use a self-watering pot with your hydromix to create a semi-hydroponic set-up. Most plants that like wet mixes will appreciate this, such as aroids, calatheas, marantha, dieffenbachia, anthuriums and alocasias. However, this is not recommended for cacti and succulents, or other plants that prefer dry mixes, because these plants do not appreciate constantly having wet roots.

The large drainage holes and transparency make them especially useful for plants with thick roots that need to be watered often, such as alocasias and aroids. These pots are made of PP5 plastic and are fully recyclable.

Both our SYBAStones line and other hydro mediums such as clay balls, perlite and pumice work excellently with these pots.
